Beli is built for ranking restaurants with friends: ranked lists and maps of where you've been and want to try, and a feed of where your friends are eating. Places I Go is built for remembering — a private record of every visit, every dish, and every kind of place, shared only with the friends you pick.

Rankings built from every visit

Beli turns the restaurants you've been to into a ranked list. In Places I Go, every visit gets its own rating, review, and photos. Sort your places by rating, or rank them within a tag, like Italian, with Insights, and see whether a place has held up — or slipped — over time.

Your own rating for every dish

Beli lets you add notes and favorite dishes. In Places I Go you rate the items yourself — the dish, the hotel bed, the mechanic's service — and each one gets its own chart over time, so you know exactly what to order next time.

Restaurants, and everywhere else

Beli is for restaurants. Places I Go also keeps track of hotels, mechanics, plumbers, and any other place worth remembering, and suggests items to rate based on what you've tracked before.

No public profile, no leaderboard

Beli's privacy policy says parts of your profile and the content you post, apart from messages, are visible to other users and the public, and it lists your leaderboard position as part of your profile. Places I Go has no public profiles and no leaderboards: your ratings and reviews are visible only to you unless you share them.

Friends in both

Beli shows where your friends are eating and your Match Score with each of them. In Places I Go, recommendations come only from friends you choose: the spots they vouched for show on your map with a thumbs-up pin, and you can invite a friend to a visit so both your ratings, photos, and notes stay on it together.

“Being reminded of past visits lets me order better.”

I use the Places I Go app all the time. It helps me in so many ways! For example, I’m on a budget and also for health reasons like to limit how often I eat out and I can immediately see how often I’ve been going out and decide whether to cook that night. When I do decide to go someplace, being reminded of past visits lets me order better and when doing take out, often gives me a more realistic timing of when my order would be ready which saves me time. And I love the trips feature- it’s really cool to see past trips in a map form as well as plan future trips based on where I plan to visit.
